The Engine and transmission on this vehicle are in very good working condition. This car has a vacuum line issue. This Mercedes diesel sedan has black paint exterior with grey body cladding. All trimmings on the body are attached except for the front passenger chrome piece that sits under the headlight and the hood ornament. both of these pieces are in the trunk. the paint has minor dings and scratches and there's 3 rust spots(under trunk lock, rear driver side light, and on hood above passenger side headlight) but as a whole the entire body is in incredible condition for its 27 years of age.
The all black inside really sells this car. clean black carpeting with black leather seats with the beautiful wood trimmings along with the original Mercedes-Benz radio/cassette player. you can see just how well kept the interior door panels are. All power switches work as they should. Headliner has no marks or blemishes, and has a sunroof.
All exterior safety lights functions as they should. When reversing, the rear sensors pop up from the trunk lid and work as they should. The trunk lock works as well as the pop out handle. all door handles on the inside and out work. Fuel door and hood open and close with no issues.
The windshield wiper mechanism and arm are removed and currently in the trunk. The instrument cluster has power as seen by the lights and mileage, however the gauges (fuel, mpg, temp, oil, speed, rpm, time) are all unresponsive. This is why the "low fuel" light shows even though the fuel tank is full. This is believed to be a wiring issue.
While this car is capable of being driven home no problem, this is a project car and needs work.THE CONS- Vacuum Line will need work-Instrument cluster gauges- 3 rust spots- Radio/cassette player's E-2 code- Passenger side reverse light needs an inside cleaning- Headlight cleaners, hood ornament, front passenger light chrome accessory are uninstalled, sitting inside trunk-Windshield wiper mechanism and arm are removed, sitting inside trunk.-Air filter is uninstalled in trunk
