1968 Mercedes Benz 250 SE ***RESTORED 79,068 MILES **

I purchased this car in 2011 from the original owner's estate. At this time it had 66,067 original miles. It was a totally rust free Florida car that was purchased new from a Connecticut dealer. I brought this car to my summer home here in Maine five years ago. I'm a summer resident so it's never been driven in bad weather.

This car is equipped with automatic transmission (floor shifter), AC ($2200 service done last summer), Power Windows, and fuel injected. I spent over $35,000 restoring this car for my ex-wife. Most of the parts were purchased from the Mercedes Benz Classic Center in California. I do have ALL the receipts. The car was completely disassembled before receiving a $14,000 paint job using Standox paint.

All mechanicals were completely refurbished or rebuilt. ALL of the interior (seats, headliner, door panels) are original and are in "like new" condition. The wood was sent out to be restored and the carpets were replaced with a high quality German carpet kit.

Everything works on this car like it should. Engine idles perfectly and automatic transmission shifts smoothly. This is the "SE" model so it is fuel injected. The radial whitewall tires have approximately 12,000 miles on them. I did have the head gasket replaced last summer and the cylinder head machined.

The "Radiant Light Ivory" paint shines like new and the original "Cognac" MB Text looks like it's never been used. Comes all original owner's manuals and folder, spare tire mounted on matching whitewall radial tire, tool kit (never used), jack, first aid kit, original sales brochure, and three sets of keys.

I do have additional pictures. This car is being sold with NO RESERVE. I can help make transportation arrangements at the new buyer's expense. I have an enclosed carrier that I used to haul my Porsche yearly from Florida to Maine.
