Car description |

RARE! 1977 Mercedes 450SEL 6.9. This car was found in a barn in British Columbia. It had been sitting for over 13 years. The car does run and drive, the suspension system works as it should and holds position and does not drop due to leaks. The motor is strong and transmission shifts smooth. The car does need a tune up and to be gone through to be perfect. It has some rust at the pinch welds where the car was jacked up improperly in its past, also rust in the rear wheel wells, definitely nothing that could not be repaired easily. The rear windscreen is broken because of a fallen piece of wood in the barn it was found in. I do have a replacement windscreen and new seal that will go with the car. There is a dent with paint chipping on the hood as seen in the picture. Interior is in good condition the seats are in perfect condition. I picked this car up just because its too nice and too rare to leave rotting away in a barn. I just don't have the space or time to give it the attention it deserves. This is overall a great car you can see that there were only 1,816 of these sold in the US from 1977 to 1980. See the info below.Of the 1798 units built worldwide for year 1977, 462 were officially sold in the North America. (ULTRA RARE)Clean/Clear registration.Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements from British Columbia Canada. On May-22-20 at 10:33:26 PDT, seller added the following information:
