About this vehicleThis 1994 Mercedes-Benz E320 is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.Seller's NotesI purchased the car a little more than two years ago and put about 10,000 miles on it in that time. I am the second owner. I do not have much information on the first owner, but understand the car spent it’s life in the San Francisco area and in Florida and was garaged. See specific notes in the mechanical / drivetrain section for the exact work that was done to it. This is a GREAT car, in truly amazing condition for its age, and is currently garage kept. Selling it to make room for adding kids to the family - no room for this fun “extra†weekend car anymore. I’ve got a lot of confidence this will be highly sought after as it ages. ExteriorExterior is original and in great condition for the car’s age. I’ve tried to show all the blemishes, scratches, etc. The major ones are at the corners on the bumper (can likely be buffed out), some scratches on the sunroof, and small nicks and scratches in misc. places that are pretty hard to notice unless you’re looking, a benefit of the color for sure. Other exterior things to note are the bottom bumper skirt has some small cracks in it, only visible when looking from street level, and the driver side mirror’s housing has started to crack with small pieces coming off. See photos. Tired are 2 years old with an out 10,000 miles on them. No flats / plugs/ patches. Car comes with the Yakima bike rack if you want it. I have the stock / original cross bars too. Happy to take the bike rack off though, but no $ credit will be given.InteriorInterior is truly immaculate. The wood is in very good shape, with the only cracks - minor in nature - showing near the gear shift. The carpet, seats, and headliner are in great shape. The only imperfection is the driver door’s storage area has the leather peeling slightly and has some holes in it from what I believe was an after market cup holder at one time. All the electronics work (windows, sunroof, speakers, etc) with the exception of the temperature display which is always about 18 degrees warmer than reality and has some bleeding in the LCD, see photos. The vacuum lock system works great. The 3rd row in the back is in fantastic shape. The only modification I made was adding a cup holder to the center consol, see photos - looks stock and has been really nice to have. I also replaced the radio with a Bluetooth / CD Kenwood head unit, along with a hands free with microphone on the driver side - this was professionally installed. See photos!EngineI do believe that that this car sat unused (though garaged) for a few years before I purchased it, because many of the typical engine components needed replacing once I started driving it. In the time I’ve owned it, I’ve put about $4,000 worth of mechanical work into it and it currently drives perfectly without any issues at all, no engine lights, no smoke, cold air, easy start up, etc. Specific mechanical work done includes: head gasket replacement (which if you do some research you will find is the number 1 issue with these engines). Then headers were machined and there are ZERO leaks anywhere. The second biggest issue with these engines are the wiring harnesses tend to deteriorate. I replaced my engine wiring after the issue started impacting the car’s ability to turn on. The radiator was replaced late last year with an OEM spec, the speed sensors were replaced after going bad, the driver side rocker arm was replaced, the air conditioning was fully serviced. Has had routine maintenance includes oil changes, new brakes, new windshield wipers, new air filter, etc.Deposits are nonrefundable.Created on the eBay Motors app
