1983 Mercedes-Benz 380SL Converible, Signal red, new black leather low miles

This is a 1983 Mercedes 380SL with approximately 87,662 miles. It is in excellent mechanical condition (see recent work below).
This is your car if you want a mechanically excellent vehicle with original paint and some sensible maintenance work to keep it a usable car. It has some superficial paint issues near three of the wheels, but this comes along with 37-year old original paint. Keep the 'patina' paired with the new interior or repaint it if you want. I chose to keep the paint original with imperfections, but they are easily addressable if you want to repaint. No structural rust issue or significant under body rust issues.
The interior leather is brand new, original Mercedes leather upholstery. It has a newer cloth top in good condition. The car includes the original steering wheel, original Blaupunkt stereo, original tool kit and jack, and first aid kit that is unused. It has a remote lock system installed. The best feature of the car is the period correct BBS Mahle rims, that appear to have been installed in 1984. The car got a new battery this year. Lot of records come with the car documenting maintenance and services. The car runs well, doesn't drop or use any oil, and has good newer tires with lots of wear left. No low ball offers, I'm only listing this because my wife told me to. As soon as this guy is out of my garage I'll replace it with a sauna.
I've been an active owner of this car (third owner) and have kept it in good, running condition.
