Car description |
---|
I have to start by saying that I LOVE THIS CAR . . . I'm selling only due to divorce. Where I live now I have only one parking space, so my beloved Benz needs a new home.
I've owned it for years, and bought it from I believe the second owner. It's been absolutely reliable for 14,000 miles, needing only oil changes, which were done with synthetic oil. All of the major electrics work as they should. The AC does not, but with the huge sunroof open who really wants AC anyway? ;)
It has recent tires, and the interior is in pretty good shape for a 1985 car. It shows it's age but it's very presentable, and all original.
It leaks oil, like every one of the old diesel Benzes I've owned.
Recently the brakes gave out. I haven't had it to the shop to have it diagnosed. The car starts just fine and the brakes work a little bit. I'd definitely recommend against driving the car home, but you could drive it onto a car hauler at your own risk.
Sorry to have to add this but . . . . . . Please ask any questions before bidding. If you have a feedback score of less than 20 please email me before bidding or I'll just cancel your bid. If you're not serious please don't waste my listing fee, or eBay's time tracking you down with a dispute process. I'm serious about selling the car, and respectfully ask you to be just as serious about buying it. Thanks!
