Car description

The W123 300D denotes a turbo diesel 3.0 liter inline-5 cylinders which was a mainstay of Mercedes-Benz production for many years. This Indestructible vehicle is easy to maintain and with fuel economy that will rival the best of today's cars. They're legendary for their durability and should run practically forever with basic maintenance.
This car has been well maintained along the way. We purchased the car about four years ago, sadly we hardly drove the car because my husband (whose car this was supposed to be, was diagnosed with amedical condition and can no longer drive). Therefore, the car has been garaged most of the time since we purchased it, with only occasional weekly driving to keep the car engine in use.
This is a model that was manufactured in Germany. Very solid car that still drives well despite the higher miles. Again, we have all the records we received for the vehicle, but we are choosing to list the car AS-IS only because we are not experienced car sellers and do not want any liability for any unknown issues we are not aware of. I'm listing what we do know honestly, for your benefit:
The Good:
  • Engine fires up/shuts down immediately, runs well, and maintains proper temperature,
  • Glow-plugsseem to be in good shape.
  • Transmission shifts are timely and fairly smooth, not jarring
  • The tan MB-Tex interior is in greatcondition. No seat tears
  • Sunroof works.
  • The car also has a Kenwood bluetooth aftermarket stereo installed by the person we purchased it from (Not standard Becker Radio).
  • The car has a full spare.
  • Car was fully detailed and tuned up.
  • Cruise control works or at least we were told by the previous seller that it worked, admittedly since it has not been driven much, we haven't used it to know.
  • Antenna goes up and down.
  • Power windows works.
  • Vacuum lock system works.
  • Car is currently garaged in an enclosed location.

The Not so Good:
  • The standard 14-inch chrome wheels do look a bit worn on a couple of rims, but that is how we purchased it, my husband wanted to replace the wheels, but we never got around to it since it was driven so little. There is also a little bit of rust on thelug nuts.
  • Air Conditioning does not work, but I believe it just needs freon, cannot be certain. I also
  • There is a missing moulding on the front left side. We were trying to find one and located one in Australia, but it unfortunately, arrived damaged. We do not have the ability to straighten it out, but I will include it, if the purchaser wishes and can straighten it out.
