**** NO OVERSEAS DEALER / BUYERS ****
Be just the THIRD owner of this 35year old car!
As the second owner since 2013, I enjoyed problem-free driving with better reliability than my daily drivers- honestly. Driven year-round except during inclement weather and especially snow. See under carriage pics of it's tremendous condition for this age. Starts cold, warm and hot with just one click. No overheating. Climate control works perfectly including ice cold A/C (r134- no leak excuses). Annual mobil oil changes, bi-annual brake fluid changes, transmission every 3 yrs and diff changed about 10k mi ago.
Negatives: broken odometer. Since last Christmas when my son hit reset while driving! At 98,102 today. Carfax should show progressive mileage with NJ emission inspections. Though latter not required in recent years. Also needs new convertible top. I never replace because it's driven top down in summers and hard top fixed during winter months. There is a 2" crack on lower left corner of rear glass of hardtop- might see on pic.
Selling because I recently purchased another classic to take daily drive duties with my regular (boring) ride. This 380sl has a rare color combination of blue exterior and tan interior that turns heads!

Just saw auction finish at BAT (Bring-A-Trailer). It's a 560SL but for $25k, look at the rot in the underebody and other rusty suspension components. My 380SL is MUCH better. Most collectors know that body integrity is much more important than mechanical issues. A rusted chassis cannot be fixed. Nor is it safe.

New soft top is $300. Prof install maybe $800-1000. Odo can be fixed. Try following Youtube instructions or send out for few hunded dollars. This is a solid body car! Routinely driven and so no smoke, no hesitation, no wandering idle on stoplights, no battery charging issue, no overheating.

BUY IT NOW buyer backed out. He was from overseas and we couldn't work out settlement method that satisfied both parties. Prefer local/USA buyer this time.
