This Euro Mercedes 500SEC AMG has had an interesting history. It was purchased from Europe and imported into California. It is CARB approved and passes smog in California. It was delivered to its owner in the San Francisco Bay Area where it was featured in a Twilight Zone Episode called "Welcome to Winfield" in 1986. This all original Gen 1 car was purchased from the owner's family and has been undergoing an extensive restoration. It has the rare Gen 1 AMG body kit and trunk spoiler, Genuine 8" and 9" Rial Wheels, Clarion G80 Sound System with optional AMG 6 speaker + 2 Subwoofer Rear Shelf, as well as Euro Headlights and Washers. It has been undergoing a restoration by an enthusiast that unfortunately needs to move on. This would make a great project for an any AMG enthusiast. The lowered suspension give it an aggressive stance but does not compromise the ride or handling. It feels sporty and is a joy to drive.
