Car description |

You are looking at a very, very nice 1985 300D that has no rust except miscellaneous surface rust underneath as shown in the pics. I own a shop that repairs Mercedes and BMWs and would like to offer up to the ebay community a really nice 300D that is owned by a customer of mine who is no longer able to drive and after years of being in the car hobby, is clearing out his stable. Anyway, he purchased the car from a dealer in Boynton Beach, Fla where the original and only local owner had sold it. I've been maintaining it for him since 2014 and have all the maintenance records reflecting everything he has had done since 2013 when he purchased it. I will provide these records upon request. The car cranks easy and runs/drives down the interstate at 80 mpg smooth and straight just like a Mercedes Benz is supposed to do.
This car is owned by the same customer I recently sold a 300CD for and has been maintained as well as the CD was with no expense spared. Read back a couple of ebay feedback to see the sale of the 300CD and the feedback from the owner that picked the car up in Macon, Ga and drove back to NJ and how pleased he was with that car. Just as was with the 300CD I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country.
The a/c has been converted to a new Sanden a/c compressor utilizing the Rollguy kit and is still running r12 refrigerant. Since the owner purchased the car in 2014 there have been many new parts installed during servicing. This car is, in my opinion, a better car than the CD because it has the four doors. I work on these cars and have owned/sold many really nice w123 cars on ebay and this one is in the top 5 of the ones I have sold in regards to looks, condition and the way it drives out. There is one, small (3/4" long) crack in the otherwise perfect blue dash. The seats show no wear anywhere. My goal is for there to be no surprises upon pickup and you will not be disappointed in this car. Please ask questions prior to bidding.
The buyer will be responsible for pick up/shipping. If interested and close by get in touch with me and plan to come check the car out prior to bidding. Deposit of $500 to paypal upon completion of sale on ebay. Remainder can be paid via Cashiers check or personal check but they will have to clear prior to transfer of the title. Cash is always welcome. Car comes with clear title and bill of sale. Because of the way the Ga DMV department works the new owner will need to provide their own tag if the car is picked up here and driven home.
These cars are getting harder and harder to find in this good of a condition and this is an excellent opportunity to pick up a good one for a good price. I have the reserve set at a low $6000.
I can help with loading at this end but the successful bidder is wholly responsible for all shipping cost if car is not picked up by the new owner.
You will not be disappointed in this fine example of the last year W123 car. Please ask questions prior to bidding. Thanks.
