1980 Mercedes-Benz 300D Diesel Sedan Great Looking Car! Drives well! NO RESERVE!

This Mercedes looks very nice. The body is in excellent shape with no dents or major dings. The paint looks good but it is the original paint which is 35 years old. The interior is good except for some tears in the passenger seat and a small rip in the drivers seat. There is also a small patch on the dash. (I have included photos of all defects at the end of the photo stream) With a little upholstery work. this Mercedes would look sharp! This Mercedes was traded into us by a client who purchased a newer VW diesel. The story behind this Mercedes is that it was owned by an older man who passed away a few years back. His grandson inherited the vehicle but didn't want it so he traded it to a co-worker. The co-worker had it less than a year and he sold it to our client. Our client took it to a Mercedes Specialist who replaced the starter. corrected vacuum hose routing. performed a valve adjustment. replaced the glow plugs. and changed the fuel filter. Motor mounts were recommended but not replaced. We have a copy of that receipt which we will pass on to the next owner. Our tech has driven this vehicle and said that it was in above average condition for the year and miles. He owns a Mercedes diesel as well so he is quite familiar with them. The engine sounds good and has tons of life left in it. (These Mercedes diesel engines are known to last a million+ miles. ) It drives well. I am trying to be as accurate and honest in describing this Mercedes. You are welcome to have the Mercedes inspected before purchasing. This Mercedes is not perfect but it looks great and with a little love and attention it can serve someone well for years to come. Plus it looks really cool!
