Owned for 9 years. Stored in garage. Driven less than 750 miles since purchase. Only driven in city. in summer. on sunny days. Driven perhaps two times per year average. Not driven at all in last two years. I have never driven it in bad weather or snow. Restored pre-purchase. Original hard top. with clear glass. and its rolling storage rack. Brakes and master cylinder replaced 50 miles ago. Original carburetors tuned and shifting linkage adjusted when brakes were done. Radio does not work. Not a museum piece but runs and drives great. Pre-purchase drove to Mercedes dealer who lifted on rack and checked wheel wells. suspension and undercarriage for rust and found none. Dealer said overall in good condition. Superficial rust in trunk. water trapped while washing. Dent on front right (original paint showing through. not rust). no door dings. 2 scratches on left rear side on wheel trim. See photos. Crack in left rear tail light. New paint is white. blue interior. white wheels. Hand wind clock operates well. Little rear view mirror (foggy) and all interior features. including big steering wheel are original to car. Original engine and carburators. Nice car. A work of sculpture. An eye catcher. Enjoyed this car. It is simply nice to look at in addition to all else. I need to pass it on to someone who can now enjoy it. Reason for selling – As I hate to admit it. do not drive it enough to justify taking the space in garage.
