Car description

1962 Swiss UNIMOG with troop seats and factory PTO gear box and “A” model winch. Engine has ignition converted to Petronix electronic points. The original pioneer tools, jack, wheel chocks, tool kit, gas can, tire chain, folding caution triangles are all there. Has the drop in side windows. There is no rust on this truck. It was in New Mexico and west Texas for many years. 4 wheel drive and locking differentials work fine. Two new batteries, vehicle is 24 volt. Shocks are brand new and really improved the harsh ride.
the original top is on it and is worn out. I kept it just as a pattern. I have this one piece replacement that fits quite well but is missing the rope that threads through it that holds it down between the cab and cargo bed, I apologize for the photo with it sitting up there loose. That tarp is very heavy duty and has just one small cut in it that a small piece of duct tape covers. I also have the rear curtain that has the clear plastic window. Mileage is approximately 20000 miles and the odometer is functioning but the speedometer bounces and occasionally gets stuck reading 30 mph....brakes work well.
The muffler has a small rust hole in it and is probably louder than a new one.... Tires are weather cracked but hold air and I don’t worry too much at 35 mph. The spare tire holds air but is also weather checked. One wiper motor doesn’t run and headlights don’t work. I am pretty sure it’s only a switch. The engine smoked a little on startup and I made the mistake of putting 2 cans of sea foam in it and now smokes quite a bit. The sea foam will work its way out though. I bought the special gear oil the transmission requires and decided to hold off putting it in so the new owner sees it first...it was $100 and don’t want someone to drain and replace new oil....
Delivery can be arranged if within a reasonable distance, this truck is heavy, don’t show up with anything less than a heavy duty 3/4 ton truck and a heavy duty trailer.
