1972 Mercede-Benz 450sl 4.5

Just scored this beautiful sl for my girlfriend's 40 birthday. Been looking for one for years, more of a pipe dream. She was not happy with my big ticket purchase! we don't even buy x-mas presents for each other. She flipped out, and told me that i better not lose money on this car. it has euro bumpers and euro headlights that easily add $3500 to value of car. couple of bubble spots. You can see it on front corner hood, driver side, in picture, and small bubble on hard top. Transmission is either new or rebuilt, (Merc mech told me), goes into gear right away and shifts great. will have 4 new tires, balance, and alignment on her friday. Tires on it have plenty of meat, but are older than dirt. Engine runs great and super strong. Has third brake light on back trunk also. Will throw in vintage Nardi wood steering wheel with hub for sl, for an extra $200. Also will throw in $125 stand for hard top with locking wheels and top cover, still in box, never used. Wheels are in excellent shape, car just detailed and glass coat. On the road, passed massachusetts inspection, took her on a 1 hour ride. No problems, great oil pressure, and temp the whole time.
