Sweet German girl looking for new home... Ready to Drive and Enjoy -
True "one owner - survivor". Complete tune-up and brake work recently done to ensure road-ability. This car has not been restored, but has full documented history. There is minorbody rust and car comes with many spare parts. Exterior is original mint green and is in good condition (there are chips and bumps). Interior is original vinyl and is green - it is in excellent shape (for age) - seats are complete and headliner is great. Dash and all bakelite are in great condition. This is a great driver (and if you want - easy potential for "show" restoration). This is the last year of the "PONTON" style MB

1962 Mercedes Benz 180 C- 4 cylinder gas engine- 4 speed manual transmission (shift on column), shift-lever bushings replaced- timing re-set, rebuilt carburetor, tappet clearance adjusted, new spark-plugs and air filter- 4 wheel drum brakes (recently rebuilt)- radial tires have 90% tread (spare is there but should be replaced)- horn, lights, fans work as they should (radio and short-wave radio ($$$ option) do not work)- original steering wheel (white with pretty patina)- all instruments work- heater boxes (original - complete and refurbished)- jack and tools in boot (trunk)- new battery- manuals and parts guide (complete)- service documentation (complete from day of purchase)- milage is 45,000 on odometer, but is probably 145,000 (not verified but have all documentation to support)- clear NJ title

Please be advised, I take a lot of time to include as many representative photographs as possible and meticulously describe TITLE (hereinafter the "Automobile"). However, it is important to bear in mind that this vehicle is pre-owned and not in new condition. After carefully reading of this entire auction page, please email or call me (hereinafter the "Seller") with any questions or concerns, or to clarify any ambiguities.

If you are the lucky winner of this auction, you will be extremely pleased. This car is in great shape and attract a lot of attention on the road and parked near your favorite stores.

Payment and Deposit

I require that you contact the me within twenty-four (24) hours, one (1) day, of this auction closing. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within forty-eight (48) hours, two (2) days, of this auction closing and can only be paid to me by Paypal, Cash (in person), Wire Transfer, Cashier's Check, Money Order, or some other form of certified transfer in US dollars. Full payment of the final price is due within seven (7) days of this auction closing and can only be paid by Cash (in person), Cashier's Check, Wire Transfer, Money Order or certified funds in US dollars. Please be advised that you are responsible for all fees associated with the purchase of the Automobile including but not limited to taxes and registration.

Deposit is non-refundable if you do not complete the transaction.

Once full payment is received, I will provide clear title, Bill of Sale and additional Department of Motor Vehicle forms to you for signature. The forms must be completed before the Automobile is shipped or made available to you.

Due to the high cost of selling these automobiles, any failure to pay the deposit or final price of the auction within the time noted above will result in full action through eBay and legal action though state and federal law pursuant to this contract. In addition, the Automobile will be re-listed for sale.


Delivery or Pickup

I highly respect your interest and want this transaction to be as smooth as possible. As an added value I will assist with any shipping arrangements. Regardless, you are responsible for all delivery costs and arrangements or picking up the Automobile. If the Automobile is not picked up by you or your designated delivery service agent or driver, I will charge a fee of thirty dollars ($30) a day after two (2) weeks of the auction closing for everyday the Automobile is not picked up.

If you are an international buyer, I can also drive the car to the local NJ port for shipping, but again, you must handle all paperwork and fees.
