Built for twelve years from 1989 through 2001 was the R129 Chassis. All of these cars came with a detachable hardtop along with the soft-top. This car is a true pleasure to drive! This particular 500 SL is the one you want. Ready to go with excellent ownership history from new.The power top including hydraulics are all working correctly as intended. This car has a clean carfax with no accidents ever and the paint still shines nicely except the trunk starting to fade. The interior is excellent as is the convertible top. The climate control works good with nice ice cold A/C. There are no lights on the dash, the car starts, runs and drives well, considering age. This SL comes with owners manual and the original window sticker.
