For sale is a 1981 Mercedes-Benz 380SL Convertible classic roadster.
This is the R107 body that was built from 1971-1989, a very long run from Mercedes.
Incredible condition inside and out. 3.8 liter V8 engine that runs smoothly. 69,893 miles. Blue with blue interior. Soft top was replaced recently and is perfect. Disc brakes, automatic transmission.
Comes with the factory hardtop, stand, and car cover.
Purchased in 1999 and was kept as pristine as possible with service and detailing. Always stored in a climate controlled garage.
The major expensive repairs were the timing chain and guides were replaced a couple years ago. Also an entirely new stainless steel exhaust was put on. The car is turn key and ready to go, needs nothing to be enjoyed.
The car is currently being stored at Golz motors in Deerfield, IL. This is a private party sale with a clean title in hand. Avoid the dealer fees and pay just the $25 in IL sales tax.
