Car description

Good driver for it's age, New top five years ago, seats recovered 8 years ago and the paint is approximately 25 years. Looks very good for a car that has never had a complete restoration. Clock works, radio works, blinkers work bright and dim headlights work, wipers work. Has original jac, tools and service books. Has original floors with original factory color primer, no undercoating to hide repairs or rust.
I purchased this car from the owners estate whom purchased the car in 1960.The car was purchased in Los Angeles in 1960 by the family I purchased the car from. There was no Mercedes dealership here in Billings since they have sold the car to me in 2009. The mother/wife of pastor who purchased the car told me the story when they purchased the car as it was sitting next to a gullwing and it was just two thousand dollars more than the 190sl. When I got the car from them, it still had the California black plates on the car. One would think that they would have put Montana plates on it if the car was to be driven. They lived in Montana for several decades and raised a family in Billings. I have some correspondence with the family members to document the car and it's history. I have driven the car apprximately 100 miles in the last 10 years. I am looking for a serious buyer and asking $149000. OBO partial project trades desired. Priced to sell, but not cheap.
