1991 Mercedes Benz 300D that had a 5 speed manual swapped in when the auto went out. This car was not available with a manual transmission in the US. I bought the car as an incomplete project and finished it, and have put 10,000 miles on it since. It's got power everything (seats, windows, moonroof, mirrors), automatic climate control, leather interior, all that good stuff. Runs great and drives very nice. The car gets really good mileage, I usually get low to mid 30s and I've seen 39 on a long trip before. It's getting close to 30 years old so the interior is showing its age, but the seats are still in good shape and everything works. It does have a couple small dents, but no rust.I've done a significant amount of work to it. Within the last 10,000 miles I replaced the entire cooling system, had the cruise system refurbished, had it aligned, new center link in the steering, new bluetooth stereo. There's a few cosmetic things that could use some attention, and you won't win any races, but it's very reliable and overall a very good car.Make me an offer.
