Car description

First and foremost, this is a running, driving, project car.
1993 Mercedes 400e. Baby brother to the legendary 500e. Built on the same production line in Zuffenhausen by Porsche, and with the same chassis as the 500e.
I bought this car several months ago with the intention of restoring it with some custom touches. Other priorities dictate that I'll never get around to this amazing machine. It deserves to be saved. So, here it is up for sale withNO RESERVE.
The good:Solid, straight, rust free body. Original paint so there's nothing being hidden. Strong V8, runs and drives. Working A/C! Low mileage, 100% stock. Built in front and rear Sonaradar SS1000 radar detection system that still works! Interior is in great shape. Dealer stamped service book up until 97k miles (2011).
The bad:It hasn't been on the road in about a year. Tires hold air, but need to be replaced. Original paint is toast, it's faded and cracking. Passenger side front fender has a crease at the leading edge of the lip, see pic. Battery is getting weak (it still starts it though). It leaks coolant and oil. Not huge amounts, but enough to leave spots on the driveway. Driver side seat bolster has some tears.
Blah-blah-blah:I'm making it very clear that this car is a project car. It runs and drives. I have only driven it around the block, so I can't attest to it's ability to make any road trips, but it always starts when I turn the key. Someone close to my location could conceivably drive it home. With the popularity of Roadkill, you never know, someone might buy it and try a cross county trip in it. That's totally up to the buyer though.
The fine print:Car is being sold as is, where is. I've been brutally honest about it's condition. If you have any questions, please ask. Listed with no reserve, so the high bidder get's it. No trades. Clean/clear Florida title. Buyer arranges and pays for all shipping if necessary. Deposit via paypal due immediately after auctions end. Balance due in cash or cashiers check at time of collection. Car is located in Palm Harbor Florida. Car must be paid for and collected within 14 calendar days after listing ends.
