Car description |
---|
This car has a story to tell. It was bought by a very nice Swiss man, who lived in California. The very nice man got married in Switzerland and told his wife, we need to make a detour before starting our honeymoon. They rented a car and drove up to Germany to the Mercedes factory where the very nice man gave his bride her wedding gift. It was this car. I told you he was very nice. They drove it on their honeymoon and had it shipped back to California.
In California the car lived a fairy-tale life. Both the nice man and wife each had their own day to day cars, and this car was only driven on road trips, and was only serviced by the dealer. When the nice man got ill, the wife decided to sell it. To "qualify" we had to introduce her to our friend who would be maintaining it. She wanted it placed in a good home.
And then, we moved to Texas, in the official Middle of Nowhere, Texas. We are not DIYers when it comes to cars, and worry about driving it further into the middle of nowhere. So we've decided to sell it to a good home where it will be loved, cared for and driven... very fast, because it loves to go fast.
The $500 deposit is non-refundable. We are giving 10 days to pay so you can arrange for an inspection. We can provide the names of some inspection companies that do come to our neck of the woods if you want.
