1981 Mercedes-Benz 300 SD 122,000 Miles White Sedan 5 CYL Automatic

Runs great a smooth ride, looks good, straight body with no dents, dings or rust. Recently repainted by a previous owner who also installed a new windshield. Good condition interior, the dash you see is a 'dash cap' and painted to match, not finally attached so to allow the new owner easy access if he or she chooses to upgrade the dash speakers.

I don't know much history on this car, I bought it in Long Beach CA and drove that day 350 miles home in Morgan Hill where it got 30 miles per gallon. A six-hour drive through stop and go traffic in LA when it was a warm day to a temperature drop of 20 degrees nearing home. The HVAC has an issue, we were either cold or warm, didn't seem to have a middle. This car was to be a gift for my Son, but he had other ideas. Other issue is that the power door lock actuator may need to be replaced as the vacuum lock compressor is working correctly.

Some of the wood trim on the dash could be repaired or replaced. In 2018 I replaced the oil pan (no leaks now), battery, alternator and windshield wiper linkage (one of those lesser known issues with these models, until it rains). No smog required with these cars, registered to 2020.
