Car description |

1967 Mercedes 250s6 cyl with 4 speed manual transCar was brought over by the family from Germany in 1967Original invoice in German DM shows how the vehicle was optioned when ordered including the rare 4 speed manual transmission.
Car was a daily driver in New York and New Jersey and has been stored Pa. so it is NOT 100% rust free but there is VERY little rust on this car-bottom of the radiator support is the area most affected.
This car was very well cared for and maintained for most of its life but the rear compensating mechanism failed so it wasn't driven much for the last 10 years or so. Some health issues have seen the vehicle not regularly serviced or maintained for the last 5 years.
The engine turns over but we have not attempted to start it due to the condition of the fuel and the need to have the tank drained and fuel system gone through. That said the fuel tank seems very solid as the undercarriage is mostly rust free.
The interior is in almost new condition and the wood trim around the dash, windows and door panels is excellent. The dash is soft and free of cracks and damage and the wood trim is also very nice.
The chrome shoes some pitting but some steel wool will clean up most of it (see photos). Brightwork around the windows is very clean, and all the glass is good.
This vehicle is worth restoring and is not that far away from being able to be driven.
Vehicle is for sale as-is and must be picked up in Auburn, Pa.
I can assist with storage after the sale and am free evenings and weekends for in person inspections-contact me for details
Please contact me for an appointment to see the car or for more pictures or information
