1973 Mercedes-Benz 280C coupe (W114). silver paint with black leather interior. All original and in great shape. Runs and drives well. garage-kept. only driven in nice weather. Original owner kept extensive service records and took great care of the car. Recently had a new alternator installed. The car was owned by an older gentleman who has since passed away. and was stored in a heated garage for about 10 years before the estate was liquidated. We purchased a new battery and had a new alternator installed as the old ones had failed. The compression tested good. and the car starts right up and drives great. Since it was sitting for so long. it is advised that the new owner have a complete tune-up done (plugs. wires. etc). The frame and under body is super clean and rust free. one of the best I've seen. There is no doubt this car has never seen Michigan salty winter roads. The original radio was replaced but it was saved and is in the trunk in case the new owner would like to install the OEM radio. Known issues:Emergency brake is disconnected as it was seized. does not affect service brakesWill need general maintenance. and is probably due for a carburetor cleaning/rebuildLight scratch in paint on driver side front quarter panelClick here for a video of engine running
