Car description |

This is a very nice example of the Mercedes 108 Series. It was sold new in France where it was bought by a Canadian military stationed in Europe, it was then brought to Canada where it was used on a regular base as a summer car .
The car is in excellent condition. The body has no rust and the underneath is very clean, even exceptional (floors and sills are originals)
The car runs really nice with it's original mechanical fuel injection pump and manual floor shift transmission. Mechanically it has always been maintained and the recent jobs include
-new water pump,
-new valve seals
-Valve adjusted
-Front suspension king pins.-Rear trailing arm bushing
-The front windshield seal was replaced.-Alignement has been done recently-Oil change + every filters done recently + all fluids (500km ago)
Inside, the wood is in beautiful condition and as the car is an early W108 (pre 68), the wood covers also the windshield side posts and top. The radio is a Becker Mexico that works great except for the automatic signal seeking.
It is a regular driver and not a garage queen, meaning that it is not a show car. It needs carpets both inside and in the trunk, the paint even though good looking has minor deffect, and as any older car it is a permanent work in progress but in the case of these high quality 60s Mercedes it is not very difficult to keep up with maintenance and is a guaranted rewarding experience.
The car is located close to the US/canadian border, and it is currently one of my daily driver. It can do long trips, or we can ship this car anywhere in the world at buyer's expense, contact for rates. In case of an importation in the USA we can handle the paperwork..
ThanksChris
