I am listing this for my friend Billy. His number is 405-696-6660 Here is your chance to own a cool Mercedes that has had over6000 worth of work done on it recently.
This car has been a " Bucket List" car of mine for years. My problem i, I have a large Bucket list. I am currently have Seven cars insured, so the itch has been scratched its time to move it on to you! This 81 TDT300 was the first year of the turbo. I purchased this at an estate auction in the "does not run" row, I installed a new 1000 amp cranking battery in it and turned the key.
it rolled over four times and it started. I drove it around the parkinglot grinning ear to ear! I promptly had it detailed. I have driven it around town some. As I said the itch scratchedand its time for its forever home,
The good, the bad, the ugly.
The Good. The car was a one owner car till I purchased it. Previous owner passedaway this past March and he first registered it in Oklahoma in Novemberof 1981. Please look at the pictures of the receipts to see over 6000.00 worth ofmaintenance and repair including a new transmission. New tires were installed October 2016, the same year the tag expiredthat was on the car when I purchased it. Due to the expired tag I can only surmise that the original owner becameill shortly after he purchased the tires.
The Tags are current and I have a clean clear title in my name, car is insured. Starts right up,drives good, all windows work, headlights oil pressure good, temp gauge works.
The Bad, Horn does not work, fuel gauge bounces around but seems to be accurate most of the time, odometer does not work, AC vacuum circuit is pluggedwith a golf T. I am probably missing something else, but it is after all almost 40 yearsold. Please don't hesitate to call me with any specific questions.
The Ugly,
The car has hail damage, mostly on the hood. Needs tail light lenses andwindshield, Aftermarket tail lights are 200.00, windshield is 235 w/seal installed. Also needs a dash cap: 129.00 on the net.
I feel this is a great chance for someone to purchase a classic Mercedeswith a starting bid less then half of the amount spent on maintenance andrepairs, again please don't hesitate to call or text with any other questions.Billy, 405-696-6660.
