Car description |
---|
1976 Mercedes 450SL features the 4.5-litre V-8 engine offering a top speed of 135 mph.
This is the European model Mercedes SL 450 - offers an excellent blend of both class, elegance and V8 performance.
Excellent Mechanical Condition.
The 4.5L V8 is an excellent runner and the car has been very well taken care of since new.
I have all records and have had a Mercedes master mechanic recently go thru the car.
The automatic transmission is smooth and unobtrusive and the car goes down the road very well with a strong purrr. This is an excellent example of lovely classic roadster.
Has 1 previous owner.
Has a "Salvage Title" yet nobody knows why - was done in error by insurance company. A spark plug wire was incorrectly installed and rested on the engine and wire caught fire. Very minor damage took place. Purchased from original owner and have all records since 1976 - serviced at Beverly Hills Mercedes since purchased.
