1986 Mercedes Benz 300SL

I am the second owner of this car and have owned it for ten years. This is a European model with a 3.0 liter inline 6. It was imported to the US when new and the VIN is WDB1070411A035532. The original owners ordered it while on vacation after they took a tour of the factory in Germany. This car was used in the summers only and always garage kept. The mileage is correct and I have some original paperwork. I also have the original radio, first aid kit still in plastic, tool kit, and paint touch up kit. It runs and drives excellent and needs nothing to be enjoyed as is. The A/C is inoperable and the soft top will need to be replaced at some point. I decided not to address those items since it has never been driven in the rain and you don't need the A/C when the top is down. Those deficiencies have been reflected in the price. This car was rear ended in a minor accident sometime in the 90's. I was told by the original owner that the rear bumper was replaced and there was some paint work done during the repair. If they had not told me about it I would not have known. There is a color match hard top included with the storage cradle. Everything other than the battery, tires, and belts is original. I have had it inspected and serviced every year, I feel confident that it could be driven anywhere without issue. Please feel free to send me any questions, buyer is responsible for transport.
