1990 Mercedes-Benz 300E
For sale is my beautiful 300E Mercedes sedan. This car has spent nearly all ofit's years in southern Florida and was transported up to North Dakota in 2018.It has lived a pampered, sheltered life and is in amazing condition for a thirtyyear old vehicle. All original... the original paint has an amazing sheen to it,but of course it has the typical surface scratches from the many years of use and exposure to the elements. Being a Florida vehicle, it certainly has NO rust. The interior is the original Mercedes-Benz leather and it is in incredible condition, still soft and so comfortable. The engine runs amazingly well, as it should with only 49,200 miles on it. The 3.0 inline 6-cylinder is known to be one of the most bullet-proof/reliable engines that Mercedes created and they are known for going hundreds of thousands of miles with proper care. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly. The gentleman that owned the car prior to me had just performed a great deal of mechanical refreshing (within the last 2,000 miles): New radiator, new motor and transmission mounts, rebuilt front-end suspension (including center link), AC/climate control system refreshed (works perfectly and the AC blows cold)... the car's power features work nicely though the cruise control can be a little temperamental and has shut off randomly while at cruise. Tires appear to not be very old and I don't think have more than a few thousand miles on them. All original glass, including the windshield -- with the original Daimler-Benz sticker. Trunk is clean, engine compartment is clean, though just a bit dusty at the moment. Does not have any engine oil or other fluid leaks and one of the many receipts in the file shows that numerous seals were replaced to eliminate any oil or other fluid leaks.
I took this beautiful car on a 500+ mile trip last summer and it ran and droveamazingly. I owned one of these previously (back in the mid 1990's) and it was THE best of the many Mercedes-Benz vehicles that I have owned. The build quality of these was amongst the best that Mercedes did. I have had plans of building a large garage to house my few classic cars but haven't got enough property space to pull this off so can't see continuing to have to rent storage space to house them. My loss is your gain. This car deserved a wonderful new home. I've tried to be thorough, but if I've failed to mention anything, please inquire.
*I have the vehicle for sale locally and reserve the right to cancel this listing at any time prior to its ending.
