1984 Mercedes Benz 230E with 82,681 original miles. Nice looking classic Mercedes sedan! Presents well, starts easily, new tires and brakes. Runs like a top. No smoke from the engine. The automatic transmission has just been serviced and shifts perfectly.
The interior is in excelant condition except for a missing panel in the center console (which Im trying to find one and will include it if I do) and the first aid kit cover is missing. The first aid kit is there but its vintage :-) Im trying to find a cover and if I do I'll install it. Other than these 2 very minor cosmetic issues the interior is pretty much perfect. Seats are nice and firm, no rips or tears. The door panels are all very nice. The carpet is very clean...not vacumed clean...but clean and has been kept clean.
The body looks real decent for a 35 year old car. The paint looks to be original and is a 7 IMO. There is a sun bleach spot in the roof (see pic). The hood has some blemishes (see pic). There is a minor spot of rust on the driver side rear door above the trim strip (see pic) and there are like 3 very small bubbles under the paint on the passenger side on the wheel arch (see pic). Over all the car looks very nice and the blemishes mentioned are not major issues. Minor cosmetic stuff expected on an unrestored 35 year old car. All is easily addressed and not expensive to fix. The car presents very well though inside and out. The trunk is solid and clean and sports a spare and the original jack.
The 2.4L gas engine runs great. The car has 82,681 actual miles on it. Clear Ohio CLEAN (no salvage or flood) title. It's just had new brakes put on it. New tires too. Exhaust is quiet...this is a very nice unrestored classic Benz. The AC is not currently working, may just need a charge. Ive not messed with it.
A $500 deposit is required from the wining bidder within 48 hours. The balance is due upon pickup. Cash in person or USPS MO only. No cashier's checks. Sorry...
Buyer is responsibile for pick up. Car can be driven anywhere if you want to road trip it home :-) If shipping I will assist the transport company if need be. All shipping fees are the buyers responsibility.
