Car description

This is an excellent example of the W460 Cabrio Gelendawagen. I have owned this truck for 3 years and have had a blast with it. Solid as a tank, bulletproof OM617 engine, synchronized transfer case, and hydraulic locking front and rear diffs. This truck will go anywhere, and with a removable soft top, have fun doing it.
As this is a european spec truck, Ebay will not accept the VIN. The true VIN is 46031217020834. It has a clean NC title in my name.

When I bought this truck it needed a fair bit of work. I have had the front axles rebuilt with new seals, wheel bearings, king pin bearings...a complete axle rebuild. All steering linkages were replaced as well as you can tell in the photos. I had the fuel tank repaired and lined and all the fuel lines replaced. The transmission has been flushed and serviced in the last 2000 km's. I just changed the oil and performed a valve adjustment. I also replaced the soft top with a new top from ARO in NY ($4K). The front seats have been professional reupholstered with matching fabric. It drives great, the engine is strong with no blow-by, everything works with the exception of the AC. The factor AC interior parts are there, but the compressor has been removed.

Keep in mind this is a W460, the original GWagen, built by Steyr Puch in Austria and sold to civilians, armies and NGO's around the world. It is not a leather trimmed, 10 speaker stereo, electronic controlled mall crawler like they are today. This truck was designed to go anywhere and get home safely.

I am only selling this truck because I plan to use the funds to build a 100 series Land Cruiser for overlanding. This G has a soft top, and is too small for my needs. But I hate to see it go. It's been a blast.
Reach out if you'd like to see more pics or videos of the engine running or a cold start.
