This Mercedes 500SL belonged to my brother who passed away in April of last year. He was a car enthusiast who was very meticulous about his vehicles. He purchased this particular car from a relative, and began making it a presentable and reliable car. He powder coated all of the wheels, and mounted four new Michelin tires. He also detailed the entire car, and worked through all of the electronic and mechanical items to make sure that the car was useable and reliable. The hardtop has been restored with new weather-stripping and a new headliner. Unfortunately, he did not get to the soft top. It is currently in the down position, so the hardtop can be removed, and the car can still be used as a convertible. The interior is in nice condition, and it seems to run good. The car carries a clean title with a lot of documentation including the original window sticker that shows a price of over $100,000. I am helping my sister-in-law sell the car, and I will gladly help answer any questions. She is trying to raise money to take care of her family, so unfortunately, trades will not be considered. However, all reasonable offers will be entertained. Thank you and Good Luck!
