1971 MERCEDES BENZ 280 SL Roadster, Restored, Excellent Driver

1971 MERCEDES BENZ 280SL ROADSTER --Silver with Black interior, Black carpeting, Black convertible top and Optional hard top, Black soft top, Black carpeting, 2.8 liter inline 6-cylinder engine, Automatic transmission. This 280 SL Roadster has been in long term collector ownership here in Long Island, New York. It has been used sparingly, but regularly throughout the Spring and Summer seasons. It has been cosmetically restored a few years ago and remains in excellent condition throughout. The interior presents well with only... the slightest bit of wear and has been cared for properly. This 280 is fitted with a Nardi wood steering wheel, an aftermarket speaker system with auxiliary input and optional Bundt wheels. This 280 has benefited from recent servicing to include all filters and fluids. The engine was also rebuilt approximately five year and has limited mileage since. This is an excellent driving example that has always been cared for properly, it is exceptional as far a structure and without any rust normally found on these 280 SL's. This 280SL represents a great value for a collector or enthusiast seeking and enjoyable and reliable vintage Mercedes Benz Roadster.
