1980 Mercedes Benz 450 SL with 37,000 miles

This is an original 1980 450 SL, with only 37,000 miles! It's white with a saddle interior. New tires and wheels from a later model SL are the only modifications to the car.

We purchased the car approximately two years ago with the intent of fully restoring it. We spent over $12,000 getting it mechanically in shape, addressing all wear and tear items including belts, hoses, shocks, brakes, signals, a/c, windows, etc. Mechanically, we addressed all wear items on the engine, including valves, timing chain, plugs, wires, etc.

We have attempted to address every mechanical issue that was needed to confidently cruise around the hills of Middle Tennessee with confidence.

While the car is not concourse ready, it easily could be with a paint job and new back plastic window. However, if you want a mechanically sound cruiser that you can drive with confidence, this is the car, and from 10' away, it looks new.
