I picked up this gem up from the original owner, who at 91 years old (at the time) hadn't driven the car in a very long time. The car was kept in heated storage on stands when not in use. This car was a birthday present for a 70 year old lady, who's husband was the owner of a major pharmaceutical company.
This is one of those cars that really does not need much of a explanation. When you get to this caliber of R107...you don't need to ask about dash cracks, paint work, bolster wear, rust, veneers, collision work, vin tags on panels, ect. The windshield is original but the guys at the detail shop removed it...idiots! Replacements are available. on eBay for a few bucks...
Maintenance book is there it has a (stamp)....service history...I mean the car has the original belts, hoses...ect. Engine compartment has never been cleaned, washed, detailed, ect.

I have all the maintenance history...the car has had the oil changed yearly (27 oil change receipts) Transmission fluid changed 3 times, coolant changed 4 times, brake fluid changed 4 times, 4 batteries, 1 radiator...and a few other minor items. The A/C was converted to R134A last year.
This is a fantastic SL for the R107 Collector...this isn't the SL for the "Average Joe"...its a #1 quality investment grade 560SL.
I'm honestly not really interested in selling the car, the wife says I have too many luxury items, so I've sold off quite a bit of my Mercedes collection. I know what the car is worth. I'm not interested in wholesaling the car to a Broker, Dealer, Etc. This car will go to the end user or I will keep it.
This is the finest, most well documented 560SL...there is....that it...end of story...showroom new.
