1980 Mercedes 300SD W116, California Car 100% Rust Free

These are the last of the handmade Mercedes Benz and the final year of production for the w-116 body.

The 3.0 liter turbo charged inline 5 cylinder diesel engine starts right up and runs extremely well! The idle is smooth. There are no apparent leaks, smoke, overheating or any unusualnoises. The entire drive trainis solid and tight.The automatic transmission shifts properly into all gears.The brakes, steering and suspension are in good working order.

The current odometer reading is 232,542 miles....which is a fraction of what these engines are capable of doing. They are notoriousfor going up to 1,000,000 miles without a singlerebuild.

Cosmetically this 300 SD looks great! The structural integrity is superb and the frame is rock solid. The body and chassis, floors and wheels wells are 100% rust free, the beauty of an original California car. There is not a singleblister or bubble anywhere whatsoever.
