Car description |

Barn, find, 1994 Mercedes Benz E 320 cabriolet. The key to this car is the milage.
This car is a legitimate 1 owner, low mileage vehicle. Garaged and not used the past few years due to health conditions. I just purchased it from the longtime owner, and will do my best to get it into the next owners hands and to give you all the information I can.
If seriously interested, I suggest you come and inspect in person.
Original owner purchased the car in his early 50's. Had other cars (MB's) in the household. And rotated use of his vehicles. Using it on a limited basis. He recently decided to part with it. The car was not used in the winter, therefore not exposed to road salt. There are no signs of rust bubbles or problems in the common areas such as wheel wells. The car was used locally, the owner lived and worked within a few miles of each other. The car sat in the driveway or parking lot most of its life. The past couple of years it was garaged because it was not used.
About the car, 29,805 original miles. Overall good solid shape, but it can use TLC. Personally, what sells this car is the low miles.
The top functions and goes up an down automatically. The convertible top material is showing signs of wear.
The drivers seat and center arm rest need to be recovered.
The drivers door sags a bit, probably from previous owner putting weight on it while getting in and out of the car.
I ran acarfax, it comes up perfect. However, I feel there has been somepaint work on the passenger side fender and door. Personally, I think the fender may have had like shopping cart damage and they blended the repair into the door. The longtime previous owner swears they never had any paint or repair work done. Thiscar still makesa great appearance, but this should be noted.
If you look at all the body gaps you can tell they are original and perfect. I am attaching pictures of the radiator support area so you can see it is all original MB, very straight and untouched and never in a front end accident. Also attaching pictures of the hood stickers to show originality.
A professional could determine this car was never in a serious accident. Just had some paintwork for whatever reason.
Starts, runs, drives, shifts, and brakes as it should.
Oil changes were done routinely at the service station down the street. A few years ago a trickle charger was installed because it was going into storage.
Me, if it I was to keep it, I would change all the fluids and do a tune up, then drive and enjoy. Seat and top could be repaired during the winter months.
Was recentlydetailed, cleaned and waxed, but not shampooed.
This is a straight car, all the gaps are perfect. Strong points are the mileage, originality, and potential. It isaverage condition and shows signs of wear. This car was not abused...but treated like an every day car. Entering and exiting many many times because of a close commute to work.
This car is advertised locally so I reserve the right to cancel at any time. Any questions feel free to contact me, 973-865-6491, Michael.
I am very picky and wanted to include all facts and opinions that I can so the new owner can make an informed decision. If anything, I am a glass half full type of seller. But the bottom line is this is a clean under 30,000 miles car that needs some minor sorting out to get it to a higher level. And, can be driven in the meantime.
I have a clear NJ title in my name. Technically I am the third owner. The original owner had it under his business name, then his personal name. That explains owners 1 and 2. i am number 3, but just for paperwork purposes.
Car is sold as is, where is. cash is thepreferred method of payment. $1000 non refundablePayPal deposit due in 48 hours. It is best to speak via telephone, I am sure serious parties willcontact me.
Thank you
