1985 Mercedes-Benz 300 cd Coupe

For sale here is a very nice, clean, low mileage 1985 Mercedes turbo diesel coupe. Less than 134k original miles. California car, virtually no rust. Starts and drives well. Fuel hoses upgraded to viton. Additional fuel filter/water trap. Interior in very good condition. Cracks in the dash. No rust on the undercarriage. Comes with over $4000 in parts and manuals and tools. This what I know it needs (there may be other items): Vacuum leak, intermittent cruise control, re-chrome wheels, repaint exterior, transmission leaks., Tires are good but I believe the wheels need to be sealed inside as they leak down slowly. Drives well but some of the up shifts are a little rough due to I believe the vacuum leak. Sunroof works, Antenna works, radio works. Trip meter and clock do not work. Cracks in the rear CV boots but replacement boots and also complete axles included in the parts. Faded window tint needs to be removed. May be a scratch in the drivers side window but the rubber has been replaced. Comes with the original tool kit and jack. Good spare. Comes with original first aid kit but cover is cracked. Custom floor mats. This is a beautiful car in the rare coupe model. A great easy project or drive as is. No body work needed. I had a ding in the left front fender fixed a few years ago but as far as I know that's the only work done on the body. Engine is strong and does not appear to use oil. A real find for someone who loves these cars and it comes with most of the parts to get it into tip top shape. I can help with shipping which you will arrange. Or bring a trailer and pick it up.
