Car description

car pulls and shifts with power, runs well, drives and brakes straight. starts immediately and is quick. power windows and antenna work well.
If you know these cars then you will agree probably not smart to pay attention to a lot of ads for 80s diesels that talk about the million mile car, have pretty pictures, and absolutely no records of recent service. If that car has been sitting for the past year or more, you will be in store for many many unfortunate surprises, and sellers that do not cite specifics related to recent service are prob not your best option.
I have have put in the good work on this one that will be reflected if you inquire or ask for service records. A/C blows cold and heat works well also.
why does it run so well?I have driven this car 5,000 plus miles in 3 months. Previous owner installed new control arms, sway bar, and shocks on front, and new battery in 2017 (have all receipts).
In 2018 I put new tires on stock Bundt wheels, installed new A/C compressor, belts, air filter, fuel filter, and have already changed oil 2x in that 3 month period.
Have service records for all and receipts, including:
replaced throttle linkage bellcrank
replaced heater monovalve
replaced front ball joints
replaced 2 door strikers (have a 3rd and will include)
replaced front right and rear left door seal
replaced oil cap
replaced coolant cap
replaced transmission seal and transmission fluid service
replaced old foam ac drain tube that was disintegrated
replaced steering drag link, idler arm bushings, and steering pitman arm nut
replaced ignition lock cylinder
replaced front and rear sunroof seals
replaced a/c pressure switch
i removed the climate control unit and confirmed no joints needed resoldering
i had the wires in the fuel sending unit resoldered
i painted the floorboards with POR 15

cruise control does not work but i have not diagnosed it, mechanic said the amplifier is a likely culprit but again he did not test
i tried to repair the vacuum diaphragms in the doors, but did not finish the project so currently the door locks dont work automatically but should be close with some additional testing--I dont lock the doors, and put anything valuable in the trunk which locks.

i disconnected the sunroof motor in the trunk--works well and was very quick open/close, but when i changed the front and rear seals i was not happy with the fit of the front seal, and disconnected (just about a week ago) so that nobody could open the sunroof accidentally while the new seal further sets. upon reconnection the sunroof will need to be adjusted.

original First Aid Kit, Spare, Jack, and lug wrench included2 sets of keys
