Lovely old Benz: I am second owner. First owner was family friend so we know the whole history.What's good: Runs beautifully. Recent tires, new engine mounts, rebuilt fuel injection system, good air, heat. Only 108K miles. cherry-red leather interior, good glass and trim, no rust, very minor dents.
What's not so good: needs brake repair. (They are soft.) Passenger window works intermittently. Rear passenger doors need attention: handle is falling off one of them and both need to be adjusted to close better. Sunroof not working. Radio kaput (no antenna). Drivers seat some cracks. UPDATE: Odometer stopped working. Sent out for repair. Hence price reduction.
I will sell this car or my Saab, whichever goes first. Need the room! Book value average for this mileage is $4k bit with brake repairs I will list for $3k.
