NO RESERVE!! All Original 1974 Mercedes 280C

1974 Mercedes 280C all original. This vehicle was stored in a barn for the last 20 years. Was bought from the original owner. A good battery and fresh gas fired it right up and runs and drives great. It is equipped with a 167cui 6 cylinder engine with an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly. I did have some work done to the carb also had a new brake cylinder installed. By all means, this car isn’t perfect, but if you're looking for one to restore, you’ll want one that ’s unmolested like this one. The interior is definitely the main attraction to this Mercedes, it’s one of the cleanest well maintained original interior’s I’ve ever seen. That being said it is 40+ years old. No rips or tears in any of the upholstery the seats and headliner are in excellent condition. There are a few cracks in the wood grain on the glove box and near the ignition switch. The carpet is pretty nice it hardly has any wear on it. As for the exterior, it’s pretty solid. Will be needing a paint job. The current paint on it is said to be the original paint on the car. It’s weather cracking and peeling after so many decades. Body wise it’s a restorers dream, there is no damage to the car, hardly any rust with the exception of a small spot the size a pinky in the rear panel as shown in photos. Floor pans look solid.
