*Additions within last 60 days-New 18" Mandrus wheels with MB center caps - Powder coated to match [lifetime finish guarantee to those in the Chicago area]-New Michelin X-Ice tires [less than 100 miles on them]
*Work performed within last 60 days - [by certified MB mechanics] [ALL parts OEM]-Complete fluid exchanges: cooling, brake, power steering, oil, trans, rear differential-Clean throttle body-New spark plugs-New filters: oil, fuel, intake and cabin air.-New heater blower-New drive belt-New rotors and pads all around-New front/rear coil springs-New gaskets throughout-New control arm bushings-New front shocks
*known issues - That will not be addressed*-Small palm dent left of hood ornament [assuming from improper closing]-Average swirl marks in paint throughout, automatic car washing I assume [consistently quoted $225-325 to restore]-Snow tires purchased are one size too tall for fenders, only an issue when turning on an incline [so pretty much never] will hear a slight rub. Assuming you replace with summer/AS tires.. simply size down.-This model, for the Japanese market was equipped with a dash light: EXH TEMP, which will come a few times per month. This is/was a Japanese emissions requirement, I was informed it is fussy with the custom exhaust. Im sure the bulb could be removed. Not a real issue.
Everything on this car works, and works well.. Including the self leveling suspension and air door locks. The seat warmers work better and quicker than any modern car I own, and the suspension is pretty surreal. Hands down the most comfortable cruising car I have driven, and simply classy. The interior seems as though it has never been used, the windows are double pane [smoked, not tinted glass] and bullet proof. The custom exhaust is perfect, as in it's sound. Sounds very much like a well tuned GM sports car, very deep and resonant. There is no remote for the locks, and only one master key. I have a front plate 'discrete' mount that I have not installed, as well as the original standing hood ornament. Please bid knowing you are doing so for a quality example of MB history in excellent condition.I will do my best to answer any questions you might have. Car is located in the Western Suburbs of Chicago.Thanks.
