1983 Classic Mercedes SL

The reason this is a special classic vehicle is because it is a "gray import". and was not required to have the ugly protruding front and rear bumpers that were mandatory on US made SL's. This car has the look and appeal of the very early SL's. The interior is fair for a 32 year old car. there are no holes or tears in the upholstery. It also has a unique wear seat with seat belts for children or very short legged people--LOL. The VID listed is not for this vehicle as the system did not recognize the grey import ID which is WDB10704612002347On Feb-01-15 at 11:10:05 PST. seller added the following information:The motor. tranni. running germ etc. have no issues. except a small trans leak. The ac compressor was renewed recently. The car drives and tracks smoothly at any speed. I tried to get a picture of the seats. but the covers were professionally installed and i would have to cut all the straps to get them off (which i do not want to do)--Please take my word that there are no holes or tears in the seats. the interior is all white vinyl. There is absolutely no rust on the car and it has been garaged since i bought it in 92. I only drove the car 21. 00 miles in the last 23 years.
