Car description

Hello. and thanks for checking out this listing. This car was my father's. and I am selling it on behalf of his estate (I'm his son). Below is as much about the car as I know and could find out. however I am neither an expert on automobiles or a professional photographer. So if you need any more details or specific photos. please let me know and I will do my best to respond as soon as possible. My dad first saw this car at an auto auction in Minnesota in 1995. He bid on it there. but the reserve was not met so he went to talk to the owner afterwards. Realizing they lived near each other in Iowa. my dad continued to negotiate with the owner for a year. and finally bought the car in 1996. The original owner's 1991 title showed it had 2. 00 miles. but the odometer reading on Assignment of Title side was filled in at 1. 35 miles - these images are shown amongst the pictures. I've visited the Motor Vehicle Department to see if this can be corrected. but it cannot. Their best guess is that it was either a typo on the original owner's title or he simply estimated the mileage without looking. Unfortunately. all previous owners of this vehicle are deceased. so I'm unable to ask any of them for details. This is where the odometer discrepancy on the vehicle's report comes from - it currently has less miles than was reported in 1991. Considering it still has the original tires with fantastic looking treads and my dad's meticulous attention when it came to buying collector items like this. I'm completely confident that there has not been any odometer tampering and that the car currently has 1. 04 original miles. After buying the car. my dad kept it in a climate-controlled garage year round. taking it out only on perfect days for a drive. However in the last few years of his life. his health prevented him from taking the car out. After his death. complications with his estate prevented it from being sold for another two years. Once everything was sorted. I found that after 5-6 years of sitting idle the car would not start so I brought it to a classic car repair specialist to get it back into perfect shape. A photo of this repair invoice is in the pictures. but to summarize: Replaced battery; Replaced fuel pump and filter. replaced burned out fuel pump relay; Cleaned out fuel lines. injectors and fuel distributor and re-installed; Changed anti-freeze (pH too acidic); Changed oil and oil filter; Changed brake fluid (6% moisture); Drained transmission fluid and replaced trans filter and pan gasket. Filled with new fluid; Cleaned out heater core. Charged A/C low on freon; Checked electrical system - replaced several bulbs. repaired front fog lights; Cleaned out rodent nest by heater and battery (the car was outside the garage for one week after my dad died. and some mice managed to get into it but were exterminated immediately and did no damage - this was just a remnant of their time inside the engine. ); Cleaned fog of soft top's windowThe car now starts right up. and runs like a dream. Other than the parts listed as replaced above. it has all the original parts. including the original tires and spare. and both the hard and soft tops. As far as I can tell. the only thing missing is the first aid kit. The only defects its new owner might find are that the cloth case for the toolkit has some fraying on the bottom. and the original tires may need to be replaced since sitting idle for so long has caused some distortion. In short. it looks and runs like it's practically fresh from the factory. I'm aware that it's very rare to find this vehicle in this condition and with this low of miles. so I want to be completely upfront with any concerns a buyer may have and am willing to answer any question with as much detail as needed. Thanks!
