1979 Mercedes Benz 300TD wagon daily driver for sale. Purchased from a beekeeper in North GA in September 2016. General maintenance repairs for daily driving completed when I bought it-- glow plugs, fluids, filters, complete overhaul of brake system (booster, master cylinder, pads), inner and outer tie rod ends, idler arm kit, upper and lower arms with ball joints, center drag link, oil pan and valve cover gaskets, starter, diesel battery, front shocks, both motor mounts, fuel filters and injector lines, ACC and main water pumps, rear transmission mount, fan clutch, thermostat, and most recently the vacuum pump and block heater. Main water pump may need replacement, has small oil leak common with these vehicles. Seats are good, especially the front and rear passengers. All windows, heat, and older radio functions as it should. Paint faded on top down to sides above window, body is minimally flawed. Included is a picture of all the invoices from repairs mentioned above. Femm Auto and Gerhard's in Tucker is where I've taken for all repairs. Happy to answer questions and send more photos if necessary. Solid vehicle for complete restoration, not perfect but definitely a quality find. I do not need help selling the vehicle, just looking for something slightly newer and less quirky. Registered in DeKalb County, GA-- title was previously held without transfer by former owner, all taxes paid and title unnecessary and nonexistent now. Mileage will change as it is still being enjoyed. This is my second wagon and I've had several diesel and gas 80s model MBs, definitely my favorite...behind the w126. Thanks for your interest, sold AS IS with no warranty implied or expressed.
