You are bidding on a 1969 Mercedes Benz 280SEL Parts Car.
I bought this car to restore another sedan several years ago. I sold the other sedan and this car remained. I purchased it years ago because parts for vintage Mercedes, while available, were obscenely expensive. Better to buy an entire parts car then purchase each piece, reasoned. This car is the desirable SEL model and is full of extra parts, specifically trim parts (the hardest parts to source, it turns out). The trim parts are stainless, of course.
It is an automatic transmission car with surface rust on the body. I see no specific rust through, but I've not spent time looking either. The wood is complete, in the car - with extra wood included (not new)
I am selling it on a Bill of Sale, which is how I bought it. True Miles Unknown - car is very complete, right down to the hubcaps. Once again, the car is stuffed with extra parts (see pictures)
I can answer specific questions. This is a no reserve auction. Car must be towed. No refunds or returns. Sold as is.
