This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION! High bidder wins!
Actual EURO market VIN# WDB12604412003207
This is a true imported grey market euro spec coupe. Probably the best color combo available, dark grey with black interior. Awesome period correct 16x9 and 16x8 Rial epsilon wheels. This Big Coupe had been parked for several years prior to our ownership but it now runs and drives well, recent service includes full fluid flush, new control arm bushings and rebuilt front calipers.
Cosmetically the paint could use some help, there are a few spots of sun damage with peeling clear coat. The front bumper has some repairable damage to the lower lip area. The rear window has a delaminated spot on the lower passenger corner(tint?). The interior could use some tinkering where glued upholstery material has come loose but overall it looks great.
Mechanically it feels pretty dialed in. It runs and drives smoothly. It will need new tires right away but otherwise it feels pretty solid. I have not driven it much since it has been pulled out of hibernation, before you head off on any long trips I feel it would be wise to continue driving it on short trips around town until you develop some confidence in reliability. It has not failed me to this point though.
The body on this thing is amazing! I have had it on a lift and we were unable to find any cancer in the body. In pictures you might see what looks like rust in the frame members but it's just loose undercoating. In fact, the only rust I was able to find is some perforations in the outer layer of the mufflers. Very solid west coast car.
I do not have much history on this car, Evidence points to it being imported into California with the bureau of automotive repair importation sticker in the door jamb as well as ELC imports sticker. at some point in it's life the title year was stated as 1985, probably at time of importation?
this car was imported legally, all of the numbers are correct for 1983 and everything matches and it not altered in any way. this car has been recently inspected by WSP with no issues. It has a clean and current Washington state title in my name.
