Welcome, and thank you for taking a moment to review this amazing vehicle. It has an incredible history, and is one of the lowest mileage examples anywhere. The vehicle was delivered to it's original owner in Honolulu in 1993 where it remained through owner 1 and 2, until arriving mainland in 2016 to owner 3 (current).
This 600SEC is one of just 159 imported to the US and is quickly becoming a collector early-90's example based on the low production numbers. There are countless articles, videos and media highlighting what a technological marvel this vehicle was for it's day - undeniably ahead of it's time and paving the way for many modern - now standard luxury vehicle benchmarks. The car is already on the appreciation curve and is expected to exponentially increase in value over the next decade.
The current owner is a 30+ year German collector/ owner and has spent nearly double the asking price in the last 18 months leaving nothing undone which needed correction. Based on the low mileage and easy climate the SEC spent most of it's life in, cosmetically there was not much to be done. Mechanically - there was a bit of age related items to be fixed and all of them were completed meticulously with a perfectionist level of detail. Full records of everything done to the car since current ownership are available.
Mechanically everything is functional and there are no known issues. Cosmetically, the exterior is a 10/10 (see pictures or ask for a picture of a specific item if you would like). The interior is a 9.5 out of 10, alcantara headliner is perfect - leather seats show no wear (the rear-seats appear to have never been sat in). The only cosmetic interior item is the wood trim in some areas is slightly warped from the sun - as you can see from the pictures this is also very minor.
We reserve the right to end the auction early as the vehicle is for sale locally as well as some collector forums. Message me with any questions or requests - if you live in the area please feel free to stop by and see the car in person (appointment ahead of time). $1500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction close through Paypal. Full funds due 3 days from auction close. Buyer responsible for pickup.
