Car description |
---|
I've collected cars for 30+ years and reducing down to one so I am selling my personal '89 560SL in Excellent Condition.
This car was bought new by a US Army Major and kept until about 2006. It was sold to a second owner that kept it about eight years.
The service records document the mileage back to 1997 and the car has been maintained extremely well. It is currently in excellent condition in all respects. The car starts cold immediately, runs perfectly, shifts, stops and drives wonderfully.
I believe the car is completely original with no accident history that I can find.
The wheels have zero curb rash or scratches as can be seen in all four photos. The top looks new as it was down most of it's life. The interior is in excellent condition. The dash and leather do not show the usual signs of wear in a lot of SL's.
The paint is very shiny and in good condition. The carpeted trunk looks new.
The tires have less than 2,000 miles on them.
'89 is the last year for this car and believed to be the best of the generation and should prove to be a strong long term investment. I personally believe this may be one of the best collector '89 SL's in the country.
Happy to answer any questions but not interested in lowball offers. No reserve so please bid accordingly.
