Car description |

Hello, up for sale is a nice example of a 1983 300d w123 with a L5 om617 turbo.
I bought the car to keep as a nice driver, but I found a nice w123 wagon so this car has to go.
the car has low miles for a diesel (under 150k miles) car runs great. drives tight and transmission shifts smoothly.
The car has very little rust, I don't see any rot anywhere. The underside of the doors have no rust, and the rocker panels are clean unlike the usual other examples.
Air condition works and cools well
vacuum locks work
all power windows work.
MB Tex is in great shape.
interior wood is in good shape has no chips, but has a few cracks.
rear springs are not sagging like in many examples of this vintage.
car has many records dating back from 1983. The car even comes with the original owner plate and owners manual. (ill take a picture of the folder as soon as I can)
tires have high tread, but are old.
interior carpet is in great shape
car has various swirls and dings, chips and scratches as is expected of a car of this vintage. I will try to document them as well as I can.
I will release the car once full payment is received and cleared
Ill be updating the listing throughout the week to fill in any blanks I may have missed
I have a video of a overnight cold start and a warm running video that I will upload ASAP
Feel free to ask any questions
happy bidding!
